Embryo to be auctioned from Rio Olympics and Badminton mare

Lissy Mac Weyer _ Rio Olympics - SJ Libby Law

We are delighted to announce that The Sovereign Auction has been selected to sell an embryo from the Rio Olympics and Badminton mare Lissy Mac Waher (Laomedon ex Pik Labionics) by the late Advanced Event stallion Party Trick (Chilli Morning ex Tolan R).

Lissy Mac Wayer completed Badminton in 2017 and throughout her career was ridden by Carvalho Jorge, Sir Mark Todd and Lucinda Fredericks.  Lissy Mac Wayer’s pedigree on her dam line relates her to the 2021 Luhmuhlen CCI5* winner Charly Van Ter Heiden ridden by Mollie Summerland and her sire line features the full Thoroughbred stallion Lauries Crusader who has sired almost 60 stallions sons and his progeny have won almost a million euros between them.

Party Trick who is now sadly deceased was a much admired sire of eventers aswell as being a proven Advanced Event horse in his own right with his jockey and owner Nick Gauntlett. Party Trick was very much in the model of his sire Chilli Morning who won Badminton in 2015 and was selected for the Rio Olympics in 2016 with William-Fox Pitt.
